Here’s another sob story from wealthiest 1% being hit SO hard in these tough economic times – the movie industry bitching about piracy of Wolverine (I saw the production copy and it blows):

Piracy of upcoming films is not new, but the theft of “Wolverine” is especially troubling for an industry concerned with a stalled economy and the financial bottom line.

Awwwww really? Piracy is hurting the industry huh? That’s surprising to hear since Wolverine made $158M IN ITS FIRST WEEKEND, which is an $8M profit. It will likely top $300M in theater sales alone, nevermind the DVDs, rentals, & merchandising revenue as well. I’m so fucking sick of corporate bitching about not making trillions instead of billions and the lack of facts to back up these absurd claims…
